 STATE CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to the Boys Wrestling Team.  On Saturday, February 27, 2010, the team brought home a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP Trophy.  All the hard work and dedication has paid off.   A big thank you to all the parents, students, staff and the community for all their support this season.

For some wrestlers it does not stop here.  Ten wrestlers from St. Johns qualified for the State Tournament March 4-6 at the Palace of Auburn Hills:  Jacob Schmitt Brant Schafer, Josh Pennell, Travis Curley, Jordan Wohlfert, Taylor Massa, Devin Scheick, Austin Brown, Conrado Dominguez, & Taylor Pemberton.

The City of St. Johns has graciously offered a State Championship Parade for the St. Johns Wrestling Team on Monday, March 8, 2010.  The parade will begin at 4 p.m. at the Wilson Center Parking Lot and will proceed to Railroad Street.  Everyone is welcome!
