  • The Genetics Home Reference connects you to what we understand about genetics and genetic maladies.

 Gale CEngage Image
Any of our bio-medical databases might help you with Psychology but this specifically brings the infotrac collection of psychology publications together.

 Gale Image
Full text of nursing and allied health journals, as well as other Infotrac health resources. Some of this is redundant if you've searched the Health and Wellness Resource center, but the focus is more academic.

 Visible Human Project Image
The visible human project packages data from the NLM into all sorts of useful virtual models. You can view a human body slice by slice. This a wonderful (and slightly creepy) tool.

 Science.Gov Image
From site:"Science.gov searches over 38 databases and 1,950 selected websites, offering 200 million pages of authoritative U.S. government science information, including research and development results. "

 Next Bio Image
"NextBio's mission is to make the world's life sciences information universally accessible."
If you are researching genetics, diseases, or anything else in the life sciences, you can get quick access to scholarly material here, but like CINAHL it may only get you to abstracts and not the full articles.

 Journal of Visualized Experiments
Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE) is a peer reviewed, PubMed indexed journal devoted to the publication of biological research in a video format.

 Encyclopedia Of LIfe Image
The Encyclopedia of Life. I know, you're thinking "that sounds amazing..." and it pretty much is. A non-profit conglomeration of all of the knowledge of life on Earth. They have a ton of tools for exploring biodiversity and you can create your own account to get more from the tools they offer.

 Gale Ebooks Image
Gale Virtual Reference library is what it sounds like...a library of electronic books. This includes many titles on genetics and a number of trustworthy articles on genetic disorders.
