Foundation for Excellence
Grant Information
The St. Johns Schools Foundation for Excellence exists primarily for one purpose: to generate funds that will be used to provide learning materials and opportunities for the students of our district that go above and beyond ordinary instruction. Through the generated experiences, we hope to encourage our students to think bigger and to be motivated to excel where they may not have seen the possibility before.
Every year we receive grant proposals for the Foundation's funds from both teachers and students. A good deal of thought and effort goes into the requests. The Foundation has funded projects such as equipment, field trips, the popular visiting author program and other events.
